The Gallery
The image is not decoration. It is where the music begins.
Ut pictura poesis
Paintings, literature, history and mythology are used as starting points rather than scenery.
A subject is isolated from its original work, examined critically and placed in a wider historical or social context before being translated into lyrics and music.
The music then amplifies the atmosphere of that subject — orchestration, extreme metal and individual musical voices combining into a world around the original image or story.

Context
The work is separated from the obvious reading and examined from different perspectives.
Translation
Lyrics, orchestration and extreme metal create a new musical environment around the subject.
