The
History.

A decade of music, art, stages and changing chapters.

The beginning

Built around
an idea.

From its earliest recordings, Pictura Poesis approached visual art and literature not as decoration, but as material to question, interpret and transform.

The band's musical language evolved across the years, but the foundation remained recognizable: orchestral colour, extreme metal and subjects drawn from art, mythology, history and literature.

Timeline

Chapters.

2012—13

The first chapter

In Death's Embrace

The earliest material was written during the band's formative period and became the first Pictura Poesis demo in 2013.

The recording introduced the relationship between extreme metal, orchestration and subjects taken from visual art.

The next chapter

The eras changed. The central idea did not.
